Description of Project: | |
Following a
rock fall / landslide in April 2011, which resulted in damage to
properties below, rock netting and rock bolting works were carried out
in Novemeber. Some 30 tonne of rock was removed from the rock fall using plant in a confined working area. Rope access methods were used to carry out all the rock face work. Works included the installation of 40 rock bolts, 10 of which were 3m long, and the fixing of 250m2 of rock fall netting. Duration: 2 Weeks |
