DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

Following design in report, we carried out safeguarding work internally and externally of the cavern, using rope access techniques and the Marini, with netting and bolt installation. Work also included:

• rock drilling and bolt installation, as well as rock netting
• Vegetation clearance
• hand & machine scaling – to remove loose materials
• spot bolts and/or cable straps to secure potentially unstable blocks with bolts/dowels as appropriate.
• draped & contoured rockfall netting system, in accordance with design
