DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

We were asked to undertake repairs on an existing retaining wall. The work was in two phases

Phase 1:
First, we were tasked to test the existing anchors and then undertaking additional trial pits and core samples
Phase 2:
Then, carrying our strengthening work to the retaining wall which consisted of soil nails and vertical steel PFC along the wall that were being secured with steel bolts. Brick pillars were constructed around the steel and infilled with concrete.
Work was finished off with restoration work to the garden.
