DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

Working with the designer and client, we were asked to stabilise the patio / walled area of a property following a landslide underneath, and then securing the remaining wall to prevent further issues, keeping in mind our biodiversity obligations as well as securing the area to prevent contamination to watercourse and wildlife nearby.
The work we did included:

• drilling work to install soil nails with a pneumatic rotary rock drill
• reconstructing the wall using traditional methods with reinforced foundations, and bars with mesh on the wall
• securing the remaining wall by drilling, installing soil nail meshy and shotcrete to finish
